Has anyone had any luck repairing drop targets that have snapped in half? I'd like to try epoxy, but I have no clue if it would hold up with the rough play of the silver ball...an original or repro replacement isn't a option at this time (devil's dare-pbresource doesn't have them)

Would it be possible to both glue the broken edge and then also epoxy a thin metal or plastic mending plate across the back to give strength to the repair?

Additionally - I have friend who does a lot of table-top miniature gaming. They do a lot of custom part-creation by making a mold of an original and then filling the mold with a 2-part epoxy to make a duplicate that can be finely shaped, painted, whatever.

Good call. This is referred to as casting and I know I have seen kits at hobby stores designed to allow you to reproduce anything. I bet that is how Steve creates his unique drop targets...
