Pulled a bad 2N6045 from a Baby-Pac.
Grabbed a F585-34 from a Bally Driver and got Baby-Pac working.

But I think NTE 263 = SE9302(which Baby-Pac schem says)
I think NTE 261 is 2N6045 which was in Baby-Pac but not correct according to schems

F585-34 I don't know which it crosses wit.

F585-34 equivilant is nte 263

So lets make sense of this

You pulled a 2n6045/NTE-261 (60vdc/ic5A)

Schematic stated Se9302/NTE-263. (100vdc/ic10A)

Replaced bad (2n6045) with a F585-34/NTE-263. (100vdc/ic10A)

So basically the transistor was under rated as per the specs, and you replaced it with an equivilant 100vdc/ic10A TO-220 NPN transistor that it should have had in that location, with a working pull off a bally board.

You also could have used a TIP 102 (100v/8A) this is what marco specialties recommends for the Se9302 equivilant replacement.

Does this help?
