dream cabinet / pass or grab?

If you push the two games next to each other more, can you move the file cabinet from this pic

next to the two games, and then put the new game where the file cabinet was?

I could but I think it would look out of place.

What I was thinking of doing is changing the desk around so that one end faces the wall and the other faces the window, then I could move my Titanic frame and put the cab there. I would still have a bit of room to get in and out of the desk area. Might look to cramped though, I don't know. Just an idea.

Move your desk so it's in the corner with both sides against the wall. I can't tell but it looks like the file cab can go under one of those desks.

Make the purchase!

I was in the same situation. I had a chance to get a nice candy cab cheap about 10 years ago but I passed wondering about how to make room for the system. Just under 8 years later I have another chance and grabbed a nice New Astro City. I did have the room but even it I couldn't store it at my house I would have found a place.

If you can afford the purchase or time never pass up 'holy grails' especially with arcade games.

I agree with osver, a little reorganizing and you have plenty of room.

^_^_^

Actually both desks have shelves under them so the file cabinet won't fit but thats the least of my worries too. That can be moved elsewhere.

Out of room? Dude, my dining room houses a Virtual On right now because I wanted one and it was offered to me for free...the hell with no room, there's ALWAYS more room...if the wife/gf says no, you need to swap that one out and put vids and pins in the bedroom.

You traded out your dining room for a big double cockpit as well? Mine currently houses my Cyber Sled. At least I'm not the only one who sees far better uses for space than dining.

We should all just take our cues from stuffmonger and live like him:

Dude fit like 8 cabs in his bedroom while still living with his parents. Awesome

LMFAO. That's just awsome and too funny.

I am guessing it is an upright.... If it was a Cockpit, I would say do it. I have no experience with the upright, but if I recall, I thought the Cockpit was very cool. I haven't seen a cockpit version since 1988, but it was a blast.

ArcadeMaze!

It is an upright. I actually have never seen the cockpit version of continental circuit or even played it with the 3D glasses. Would be a cool experience I'm sure. The good thing is that the cabinet only measures 24" in width so it's not that big.

LOL. Damn Japanese (no pun intended)

I remember playing this game and having high score matches vs one of my high schoiol friends Bob. Ever since then I have always wanted to own the game and now that I have a chance to, I cannot let it go due to room.

I just did some re-measuring, if my chase hq was the 19" model, the Continental would fit along side of the other 2. 25" cabs are nice but have their price :(

Thanks for all the help and comments. I ended up grabbing it today and actually just returned from an exausting 12 hour trip. My Matrix took the cab like a champ. I'll post pics later.

HAHA I thought you were about to say "If your wife/gf says no, you need to swap her out and put a new one in the bedroom"!

Would you guys pass up on your dream cabinet even if you had no room?

I am faced with a tough decision. As most of you know, I have been on the hunt for a Continental Circuit cabinet for some time now and have found one close to home, about 4.5 hours away. Price is a bit on the high side but the cabinet is in excellent condition. I am sitting on the fence since I don't have room for it and I dont know if I should pick it up and store it until I move to a bigger place or let it go.

As always, I would appreciate all your feedback :)

Thanks

Absolutely would not pass. Lack of room has never stopped me before. Just have to get more creative.
