So a few years back I restored a Dragon's Lair game back to its original condition. It had been converted to a Space Ace. The cabinet looks amazing and looks as it should.
I have finally gotten around to finding a Laserdisc player for it and with that I have a few questions that I need answered.
I have installed a LASERCON board (version 6.0) and it seems to work as it should (following the instructions for the beeps and LED lights etc).
I have installed a Pioneer LD V4200. When I turn on the machine the game does start the disc etc.
My question is... what DIP switch settings do I set the Lasercon board to? And the Main PCB to (I see there are 2 banks of dip switches)
I just want to make sure that I have it set the way it should be set to make the game work correctly. I did read that I was to remove the front panel on the LD player and put all the dip switches on the LD player to the UP position (which I did)
My 2nd question is... Do I need a new wiring harness for this machine since the one that is in it is from a Space Ace?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank You
