Ok i will try and make this short. I am at a dead end with this,so please any ideas would help. Put back together a Dragon Lair2 that someone turned in to a Golden T 2k . Bought 2 player's,2 boards, and at the time only had 1 disc. we switched around everything over and over, and still had the same issue. So at that point we thought it had to be the disc. So we got another disc, and tried it all over again and it still, will only start to play about 10 seconds then it re-boots. and the says (see pic below). fault at location 6100. In attract mode it plays fine. Thanks ahead for any help. Darrell
I did a search on the Dragons Lair Project web sites Archives for your fault at location 6100 and came up with 2 messages with the same answer. In their case it looks like the disc was bad. Their were 2 pressings of the disc and you must have the correct ROM version for the game to work. That was my problem when I was putting a DL2 together but I never got that error.
Below is copyed from the DLP Archives. Check out the DLP if you havent yet, it's full of infomation and great helpful people.

Q- Finally got my Dragon's Lair II up and running, but whenever dirk dies the game shows a snake eating him and then goes black and is followed by a "Fault at location 6100" error. Does anyone know what could be causing this. Any help is appreciated...thanks in advanced.
A-Sounds like a bad spot on the disc.... try testing the disc in the media test. It will say BAD SPOT if one is found, it did with mine.

Cure ? Try cleaning the disc or another disc. No end of cleaning cured mine, there wasn't a scratch on it, nothing. I put it down to bad manufacture... is it pressing 1 or 2 BTW ?
The bad ones seem to be 2nd pressings.
Hope its of help,

Q- Hey, I have my whole DL2 game together and bought the right rom for my first pressing disc. It works and I can get into the service section of the game. I checked all of my movements up,down, right, left and sword. I can even change it to free play. But when I go to play the game I't goes through the first three moves kills me and showes on the screen Fault at location 6100. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks for the help.
A - Just to let all of you know it was a bad Laser Disc. Bought a new one on E-bay and now the DL2 game is working just fine. I had all the harnesses right and Sams Null cable step by step was right. Just thought I would let you know. Now It's time to build a DL 1. Thanks for all the help. This is a cool sight.
