I just bought an X-Multiply from this same seller in Japan for the M72 kit being made.

So my post was just a heads up...

I don't think I've been offensive toward him.Anyway this is what I think about the 'kiwi'.He started as a good guy and a real enthusiast (we were friend too, I personally introduced him to MAME Dumping Union list, we exchanged favours each other) but the he got brain washed by the guys of that evil forums ending up subjected to the most sinister logic of pure profit.Now his greed has no limits and, being a smart and clever guy, he is very able to manipulate people who hang from his lips considering him as an idol and being ready to open their (big) wallets to buy his devices.

The M72 kit is going to sell for $100-$150. Considering these boards are so rare, how much money do you think is being made here? Do you really think greed is the motivation? His other multi kit (Sega C2) sold for $125 shipped. I think he sold 50 of them. You're a smart guy, do the math. Do you really think greed is the motivation here? Perhaps he is lending his talents to a hobby he loves? I know of no one, including you, dev'ing for the arcade hobby that is getting rich. They are all labours of love.

In all my interactions with Apocalypse, he never comes off condescending where he belittles anyone that knows less than him. He is always forthright with lending his expertise. Also, I see that your site and his site focus on the same thing, fixing arcade boards. BTW, I love your site. But can't help to think from what you say that you introduced him to the dumping union and that you and him may have started off as mentor/mentee and that now he can go off on his own, you feel offended. The measure of a good student is to show that he has learned more than he was taught. You might just be taking it the wrong way. Get over it; life is too short.

The M72 multi isn't a Darksoft production. It is made by Apocalypse. Also, if you have a spare Irem M72, sell it to me please

The design is made by Apocalypse. The kits will be made and sold by Mitsu. From the arcade-projects.com forum. Which Darksoft owns. Same difference to me.



Anyway, I don't know how I ended up in all of this.
Kebrank was selling an M72 board (who has hooked me up) and I post about a multi-kit for that board. All the other crap you imagined is all on you. Maybe you got your feelings hurt by Apocalypse and you feel you need to take it out on others. Get over it.

I don't know Darksoft.
I don't know Apocalypse.
I don't know Caius.

I buy multi-kits for my arcade cab and I play games. I want to see more multi-kit made. I don't care who makes them or how. I support the people who are making them in hopes that they will continue to do so.
