Drag Race on Cinci Craigs.. Bad history with this guy.

Here is the ad: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/vgm/2296790884.html

I also posted this in the bad reviews area, I'm posting here just to share my story of what happened two years ago with this guy. Thought maybe it might be interesting to give some history on what kind of guy this is in case anyone is thinking of getting this machine.

His name is John Castle, I tried to deal with him 2 years ago on this same game. The right steering wheel doesn't work, and the board displays artifacts during game-play. I Worked a deal with him as did some others that I know of here on KLOV. Anyways, I was to pick the machine up the next day after work. The night before I ordered some parts for the steering wheel problem. Next day, I went to pick up the machine and he never answered the door, nor did he return my phone calls or emails for the next 2 weeks!! I assumed he got a better deal and ignored me. So be it.. I missed a deal and I was out some money on parts. But oh lookie!!! Here he is again trying to sell it. I know it's him cause his phone number matches my email records from 2 years ago. I called him today and got through! I reminded him of our deal two years ago. He said he just decided not to sell it. When I asked him why he didn't bother to tell me this in one of my numerous follow up attempts he simply said he didn't have time. To me that is just disrespect to a fellow person and that sort of action bothers me especially since we setup a pick up date and I showed up with my truck. I feel that it would be common courtesy to let someone know that you decided not to sell. I wouldn't of been upset. I've heard it from sellers plenty of times and it does not bother me. This guy just cowered out of the deal and didn't have the spine to just simply say to me that he decided not to sell it.

Deal with him if you want but I ask as a fellow comrade to ignore this guy. Or prank call the hell out of him.. HEHE.. Oh, and here is his email. [email protected]

So I bet its safe to assume It does not 'work great', as he claims. Was he asking 3 bills back when you were dealing with him?

When I first saw it pop up I did not put much stock in it anyway. If your to lazy to snap a pic for something you are trying to sell for a few hundred, but can take the time to find and link one online...there is something being hidden.

He was asking 200.00 then, Our deal was for 150.00 since the right steering is out, and the board has particles. It did work, Left side played. It just has some minor particles displayed which would need to be repaired soon. The cabinet is in good shape, but if I remember right, both sides were painted over black. No side art. Gosh it's truly amazing what the human brain can remember and how much it can hold.
