I admit that the figure inside the coffin on a BSD is about as goofy looking as all get out, but he can't be seen on my machine, and that just seems wrong. Even though I'm certain it's the original piece, the dark tint of the coffin cover seems to be way too dark.

I've checked the three bulbs underneath the figure and they're all good. Am I missing some bulbs elsewhere that light him up?

I'm thinking it's just a case of needing a new coffin cover with lighter tint. If so, which is most recommendable, the clear version or the light tint version?

I don;t own this one nor have I ever played one. However this machine is screaming for LED mods.

See attached pic. My thoughts are to install LEDs in places marked.
On Dracula - the top two stars and bottom two stars place two white higher rated LEDs in there and wire into the GI to produce a low light glow.
The other two LEDs install red ones and wire into whatever lights would light that sucker up when an accomplishment is made - what ever it is on that game I don;t know. But the LEDs would be flush mounted on Dracs bed.

The upper left graveyard screams for a few LED's as well. Once again I higher rated LED to produce a low glow. I suppose red would be the color of choice there. Speaking of - I didn't put it on the picture but you could also LED the skulls eyes in that graveyard section.

As far as the coffin lid if you plan on doing nothing for mods I'd go clear. If you mod it then use tinted.

mine looks like the pic that was posted. If yours is darker and your going to replace it, i would be interested in your cover. mines in bad shape anyway.

Mine's so dark that you can't see Drac at all. It's also not in the best of shape, with cracks on both ends where the screws are. (There's some slight crackling along the top too, as if it has suffered heat damage.)

Your LED mod ideas sure sound good to me. Especially for the graveyard area; I really wish it stuck out more. (I bet it's completely AWESOME under a blacklight.)
