So I have a Dr who.. its been flaky. Resetting when two much action
gets going or I flip the flippers quickly. I assume it was the normal WPC
power supply problems.

I bought a new Rottendog Driver/power board. I got to play one game on
it before it started up again.

There are a couple molex connector pins that are pretty well burned
connecting to the driver board.. could that cause it?

Anyone got a video showing how to replace molex pins?
Any clue what size molex pins they might be?

Any other suggestions beside those burned connectors on where to look?

Thanks, Mike

I had a similar problem when I had too many games all running on the same breaker. Try making sure it's the only game on or plug it in on a different breaker and see if that does the trick.

WPC games are known to be very finicky when it comes to power and random resets are commonly caused by low voltage.

Check out this pinwiki article, it is a walkthrough on solving WPC reset issues:

I think you should just donate the game to me. Ill head right out there to pick it up. Then you save yourself all the headaches of trying to fix it! Dont worry, Ill bring a case of booze to ease your mind of the already experienced suffering.

In my basement, I ran a dedicated 20a breaker to my game room. I have my games broken up on 3 switches (3 games per switch) and a couple just plugged into the side wall on another circuit. Helps to avoid that. If you have a clamp amp meter, you can actually watch the draw and see whats going into the machine.

If you have burnt connectors, you need to replace those first. They are most likely .156" connectors and I recommend you replace using Trifurcon pins. This will give you a better connection. I really keep meaning to make a video on how to change those things. All pinball collectors should know how to replace a connector. PM me if you need more info.

Also, I put 3-4 WPC games on a 20 amp 110 circuit with no troubles. My gamerooms are wired that way.
