Does anyone repair/swap Ice Cold Beer PCBs?
Greetings,
I recently bought 3 Ice Cold Beer machines, with the intention of keeping one and selling the other 2 after getting them all working.
I got one working (yipee), but the other 2 have board problems.
I know it is the board because I have swapped everything else in and out of the working game. (ie, I put the bad board in a working game and have the problem, also I take a working board and put it in the bad game and the bad game works). So I know in the bad games everything bot the PCB is good (playfield, motors, coin door, control panel, power supply, etc).
One of the boards comes partially up and then makes a ticking sound (watchdog?) through the speaker, and lights up the small display board, but does not flash lights or anything else.
The other board does not come up at all and always blows one of the 6a fuses.
Either of these could be simple fixes, but I'd rather get help at this point.
I'd be open to either swapping (plus money of course) for a working board, or sending the board to be fixed.
If I can't get these board fixed, I'll sell the games as-is, but I'd much rather sell working games.
thanks guys,
tim
