How much do you guys think that this machine is worth given that the sides have been beaten up a little bit. I'm trying to get and restore a full Double Dragon as it was always one of my complete favs but I can be patient.

They seem pretty firm on $200

Depending on how bad you want it, I'd say wait. DDs are very common! And it looks too worn for $200 to me.*

man that's a tough break on that side. Wasn't this a stencil kit? If not, perhaps you can get new sideart/ paint/ whatever.

If this was around my neck of the woods, I'm pretty sure it would be sold within a couple days at $150. $200 doesn't seem too bad if game and monitor work. $250 too high.

$200 isn't bad, but I'd pass knowing that the side art is faded and torn and will require some $ and time to restore. Double Dragon is common, even in the original cab.

Overpriced

Its overpriced...

There was a really nice DD on the Reno CL about a month ago and he only wanted $150..good side art and all...it was a fair price

I wouldn't pay $200 for a DD in that condition..but thats just me

True

Thanks for the replies, sorry for the double thread.... went back and then thought it didn't post.

I guess $200 is an average price but not a good deal. For some reason all of the DDragons are in Sacramento for Norcal. I've seen a few and never any in the Bay area.

What I want to do, is to get two of these machines and put them side by side. One a normal DD and the other is dressed as Cadash and I'd do a quick board swap to get linked Cadash going at any time. I've never seen or even heard of anyone setting up the double Cadash in Taito cabs like it shows in their flyer.

I'd pay the extra $50 not to drive to Sacramento or $100 not to drive to Reno though... for me it's about the damage and work to restore. I just want a reality check also.

$200 for a working game you want isn't too bad. If you plan on doing a full restore the $$ would add up quick though. I haven't seen any dedicated DD machines come up around here in the past year or at any of the past auctions I have been to. I guess it's all a matter of where you are. If it was a machine I had been looking for a while I wouldn't think $200 was too much.
