I started working on a Taito Double Dragon game (in my pile of projects), and was wondering what monitor(s) was originally used in the game? It currently has a Nintendo monitor in it, but it seems that someone in the past had previously tried to hack that into the cabinet. I see that they tried to just use the normal 120VAC power for the Nintendo, which is likely why the AC and DC fuses for the Nintendo monitor are missing from the chassis...

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

19" K7000 with a resistor in the Verticle height section cut off. Yes seriously... DD boards seem to start off really high/or low on the screen.

Thanks for the replies everyone, sounds like I need to look for a 19" K7000! Are there any details on what PrarieDillo mentioned (about a mod to the vertical section for use with DD)?

On a side note, what commonly goes wrong when someone hooks a Sanyo 20EZ monitor up to 120V? I'm assuming that the previous owner must have tried... Do you think it's salvageable for use in some other game, or is it not worth the effort?

Thanks again,
Dave
