Hey guys well I got my double dragon today and it is Def. not dedicated LOL. However it may not be so bad. Its in a nintendo cab and if I had to take a guess possibly a Mario bros. wide body? Can someone else chime in? Also what's the chances of finding an empty double dragon traitor cab? And should I bring this back to a Mario if that's what it was.? The cab looks wider than a standard nintendo cab and has orange paint under the black.

Either way I think I did OK. Total investment was $74.75 (found a quarter in the bottom LOL)

Yeah, judging by the coin door and the wideness, I'd say Mario Bros. If it has a Nintendo monitor on the inside and any of the original wiring/power supply, I'd say go fir it. Otherwise, you'd have to decide how much you want to sink into a mario bros. The control panel/artwork/etc won't be cheap either.

I've seen widebodys go for $300-500. I suppose if you want to nickel and dime it over the years, it could be worth it, but personally I'd just look for another widebody.

Cool thanks guys. Yea it has the Sanyo ez. In it along with the ISO and all that. There looks to be a new power supply in there for the DD. Everything works for DD so I figure I could sell the DD board for some cash to Mario parts. Or hang onto the board and wait for a taito cab. Just got it today so still have time to ponder on it. Either way I don't want to part it out, but I can't stand to see DD in a cab like this. So I am leaning towards MB.

Yeah, I'd like to see a pic of the PCB. If it's a bootleg, then I'd say start parting out the non-nintendo parts and convert it back to a MB.

If it's a Taito pcb, then I'd leave it as is - maybe try to find a repro marquee or get one printed that will fit your shape.
