So I just bought me a DD2 and thought it wasn't working at first. I plugged it up and just heard the music playing. After a while I added some credits and saw that the game went to the title screen and stayed frozen.

It didn't respond at all, so I added more credits but this time I held down the credit switch on the coin mech. I pressed the buttons and the game started playing, and this while I still had the coin switched held down.

So I took off the ground from the 1p coin and reset the game, Everything works perfectly. Now has anybody ever come across this? How could I fix this?

I have a neo geo wired cab, but have a JAMMA to MVS adapter connecting everything. Here is what I have: http://www.jammaboards.com/store/jamma-to-neogeo-adapter/prod_228.html

My other games like SF2Turbo, Killer Instinct, Final Fight and MK2 work perfectly, what could be the problem?

I also looked over the manual and dont see a pause feature on the dip switches, is there a universal way to pause a PCB game?

sure you don't have the coin switches wired wrong? Like normally open vs normally closed or vise versa (not sure at the moment which is normal). Any way I've heard of games not working or showing an error message when the coin credit switch is stuck, which is basically what happens if it's wired wrong.

In your other video you mention adding a "pause" switch. What's that about? Could it be related?

That was a pause switch that I soldered onto my MVS 4 slot. Thats not currently connected to any part of my wiring. I will have to check my harness and see if the 1p coin wire is connected correctly.
