I just purchased and Double Dragon 2 board set for my Double Dragon cabinet. Would anyone happen to know if this would just plug and play? This is my first Jamma game and I really dont know much about what would just work in it..

Buttons and some player 2 control movements are not working properly but game plays fine.

I am not sure if the cabinet control panel is OK since I never had a working Double Dragon board set in it.. I purchased it non working.

Thanks!!!

Yes. You can run hundreds of jamma games in that cab. That's why they have the pcb drawer in the front. Also the back of the monitor bezel should have a space theme on it so you can turn it around if you had a different game.
The cab is made to rotate the monitor for horizontal and vertical games. I always left the big bolts out so I could rotate it and change the game in under 3 minutes.

By the way. DD2 Sucks ass and slows down. Regular DD is great.

and regular DD doesn't slow down?

The problem you'll see immediately is that the buttons aren't correct. A DD stock layout is something like reversed.

S3 S2 S1 where a DD2 is normal JAMMA S1 S2 S3.

You have to swap 2 pins on both sides... but test this to make sure. I know a bunch about these cabs... trust me!
