I have two JAMMA games that I would like to play in my Double Dragon cabinet, Revenge and Fighters History.

When installed they both turn on and play fine but the image on the monitor is upside down. Would anyone know how I can flip the image?

Thanks!!!!
Tom

Thanks! Will search and give it a try!

Many of the KLOV game pages have documents including manuals.

Here is a screenshot of the dipswitch settings. Screen invert is dipswitch 8 on bank 1.

Thanks again. I am actually trying to play Revenge and Fighters History in my DD cabinet. This is my first JAMMA game and thought most boards would be plug and play.

Do you think its just a setting on the Revenge and Fighters History boards?

The problem you're running into is that Double Dragon was often set up with the horizontal and vertial yoke signals reversed. Why? I have no idea.

Flipping the dip switch on your DD board is only HALF the answer. The next thing you need to do is switch your yoke connections to invert the picture both horizontally and vertically. That way your DD board will still look correctly, AND the monitor in your DD cabinet will play nicely with other JAMMA boards.

I had to do this in my DD cab, because some of the other boards I've used in it didn't have dipswitches to invert the picture.

You'll only have to do this once - after that you should be good.

Oh my bad. I overlooked the Revenge and Fighters History note.

DDII: The Revenge has the same dipswitch setting as Double Dragon. So it's dipswitch 8 on bank 1.

Fighter's History has a screen orientation option in the game menu.

I hope this helps. But to echo smalltownguy2, it would be best to flip your yoke connections. I had to do it in my Double Dragon cabinet as well. So now I can switch other JAMMA boards with no issue.

Thanks Smalltwn and Nesjess for your replies! Im pretty much a novice and was doing well just to remove the game board..LOL. How do I switch the yoke connections? Never done that before but have removed chassis.

I have attached a pic of my monitor.

Im also looking to purchase a few boards including a replacement DD..mine has a 67301 Error on boot up. Would you recommend creating a separate post for them

Thanks again and have a great holiday!

I had a double dragon in a Mario bros. And the image was fine, but when I put the mario back in the screen was flipped. You need to snap the yoke connector in half and flip each half when you plug it back in. Make sure you don't cross anything though... Maybe hold off for someone more knowledgable than myself... Lol

Here's a quick video on flipping your yoke wires.

Your monitor's tube may have the yoke connector in a solid row of 4 - not a big deal. You can snip it in half (like Sk8ersublime suggests) and work with each 2 pin connector individually. On my tube in this video, the yoke connector is already set up with two sets of two pin connectors.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I better wait to hear back..dont want to mess anything up by swapping connections.

Smalltwn and Nesjess would you be able to give me instructions on how to do that.. Would really appreciate it!! Looking forward to playing this game.

Thanks for the vid! Followed it and worked perfectly! My connectors were like the chassis that you did not have connected to a tube..not easy to get at but worked great!

Thanks again!!
