Double Dragon alt bezel

What is the story behind the bezel in this picture? Was it an early production game? I can't find anything about it.

That cab is a "generic" Taito used for various dedicated machines.
The bezel is double sided - one side is DD art the other is the line/block art as seen.

I have these NOS if you need one.

Yes the Double Dragon cab is super cool. You can swap in a new board and rotate the monitor in under 3 minutes if you want to. It's designed to do that.

And yes, the bezel has two sides - the original and the (I call it) space theme.

If I still had mine I would get that NOS bezel for sure!

Another cool fact with these cabs is they made them from other cabs that were scrapped. If you look inside where the pull out drawer is, I bet you will find random cut up side art on the small supporting pieces as in the pics below...

Huh interesting. My DD cab looks like the one pictured, but I'm pretty sure the other side of my original bezel is blank instead of the Taito one shown.
