Anyone see anything like this. I know people have said to replace the cables.. well guess what I did that.. and it didn't go away. Any clues where to check would be ideal.

I'm not sure, but could it be bad RAM?

I have a Cloak & Dagger board that does that to the graphics, and on the self test it indicates bad RAM at certain locations on the pcb.

The ram does appear to be on the warm side... I know from working on Tron's and Spy Hunters and any other electronics.. warm/hot chips are normally a bad sign... I'm gonna order new ram for it tommarow.

Where's a good place to get RAM? I know Bob Roberts has some but I'd like to know of other places KLOV members go to.

I normally do large purchases from Mouser, Digikey, Jameco and sometimes MCM electronics. For parts etc.

Figured I'd post a follow-up... The video Glitch is fixed! YAY! Turned out 6C eprom had a bad checksum. Now the only thing I have to tackle is to get the Environmental cable set that I purchased to work in the upright. So time to crack out the schematic and weed out whats not used.

I will say after watching the game run in demo mode it occationally slows down ... I'm wondering if thats because I have nothing hooked up .. i.e. Spinner / joystick, sound amp... didn't know if it was polling for it . Odd that it would.
