A big thanks to OregonArcade here on KLOV for letting me come down and get some good Pantone color matches to his new DOT.
There were a few requests about getting this art printed and I dont usally offer up Solvent inkjets with a few exceptions and DOT fits that bill since its unlikley sideart for this size will ever be silkscreened.
All the colors here are nice base Pantones and I can get great matches on pure Blacks, cyans, and Magentas.
The file from AAL needed alot of work in alot of small details and imperfections of the vecotors and in colors which is always the biggest problem since not all printers/color profiles will output the same heres a compasion AAL on the Left and my ColorCorrected version on the right. Which is proof why you cant go by onscreen colors.

Looks fantastic, Rich! I know Brian (wickedbass) should be hitting you up soon for these. Looks really great.

Looks excellent......What about EDOT are you printing those by any chance.Thankyou....Dave

that would be alot of scans!!!
I could proably do up a version based on this art with some good measurements of the enviromental. But wouldnt be cheap

Awesome work Rich! - Man... I spent a lot of time touching up the side-art on mine, so I've been on the fence on whether I'd want to tear it all down and replace. The pics make me want to.

I'd only ever found one side of the art in the good AI file. Did you make the other side too? (Change the orientation of the game name?)

Just saw the pictures on the site (thisoldgame.com) with both sides. FIRST CLASS!!!

I'm really excited about the opportunity to get a new CPO, I'm hoping you'll repro the upright version - I'm not sure if a good scan or NOS version exists anywhere...

OH NO YOU DIDN'T!!!

First the Journey sideart and now DOT sideart!!!

We're all whistling "Zippidee Doodah" out of our assholes!!!

Too bad I have a chopped EDOT... hey... do you know if your DOT sideart will fit on a chopped EDOT???

I'm workin on both versions of the cpo and hope to have a nos in hand of the upright for color matching. These will be silked screened with Black light florecent inks :D.

I'll be needing one for my EDOT. Thanks for doing this!

Oh wow, that's great news. Now to find a banged up DOT to restore...

Join the club, sigh. This is the game I have been looking for all along. All the others just keep getting in the way :)

Thanks Rich for doing this, you are a champion of our community.
