Did anyone in LA happen to catch the DOT on Craigs last night?

So I guess Kalan was the only one that saw it.

Needs to be cleaned. Just dirty. The corner damage is not that bad.

Thanks to Kalan for giving me the heads up on this one!
Picked this up in the pouring rain (Thank God for Walmart!) Saturday night at midnight along with the cleanest Robotron I have ever seen and an absolutely mint Gyruss.

The DOT is factory cut and looks to have not been open since 1983! Had to drill out the back lock to get in. ;(
All original except maybe the cpo but I can't really tell. The game was not working and blowing fuses. The board was putting up garbage when I tested it in my Tapper. Changed the Z80 on the cpu board and it came right up...how is that for luck! I am waiting for a ps and will have more of a report in a few days.

Ill post some pics of this Gyruss in a few days.

I forgot the best part.........

NO WATER DAMAGE! ;)

very nice

dude you gotta get a lock pick set.

there are videos on youtube that show you how to do it, and it takes between 10 seconds and 2 minutes to pick a lock vs. 2 hours and tons of metal dust getting all over the boards inside.

Awesome score! Looks to be one of the nicest enviromental chopped I have seen in a while.

Nope, i saw it, but by the time i called they said all 3 games were sold. Must be nice for Kalan to be able to monitor CL 24-7. Anyway.... HOW MANY DOTS DO YOU NEED??? :)

does that tag inside the game mean there were over 70,000 of these made?

My guess would be that the 7 was a code for the cut EDOT. So it would make mine #55. I have seen some others and the all have the 7.....

And as for how many do I need? Just one that I can play. ;)

I was the first person to contact the guy but I couldn't go get it, I had family obligations.

Bummer, $350 for that thing, what a deal.

EDOT Etc.

You're welcome for the DOT Andy just getting it working so it can be added to the collection. Here are the pics of the Robotron. I'm glad I can monitor CL 24-7 having a 50+ hour a week job working graveyard on a Freight Dock. Thank God for my Droid X.
