You respond to a Craig's List ad for a good to great deal and you get this response:

Hi > > Just sold this to someone else, but I can tell you where I got it from. > I just got 3 of these from bidswoops.com and I resold them on here for > some extra money. > > The trick is to watch for bidding to slow down and then put in a bid. > That's what I do and I win all the time. > Regards > > Sent from my iPhone

I was responding to this ad:

Someone else ran into this scam the other day.

People get tempted to email back with a rant when they realise it's a scam...but that's just a good way for them to get ahold of your email address. Valid ones sell for $$.

I got one... It was a Gmail account and I simply opened an abuse report with Google. They will shut down scammer accounts.

:D

I have gotten that loads of times for just about anything that's super cheap on Craigslist. Good idea about the abuse report, I usually just deleted them.

Yes, I've fallen victim to this twice in the past in the past week!

Why start a new thread when one 10 years old exists?
Don't you hate it ....
when you pull out a game to work on it, spend a day or two fixing all the major and minor stuff you had been neglecting, make all the monitor adjustments, then push it back into the row only to notice one more tweak you could make to get it just a little bit better.

This is how I feel about my home built VS duck hunt cabinet. I don't want to pull it out of the row because it is heavier than hell and has stuff that is also heavy on top. Well I guess I will fix it when I move at some point before the end of next year...

Solution: I just saw someone who has furniture slides / gliders under all his games.

And I'm buying a box of them now for my games. It's a brilliant idea and makes getting it back off the wall for that last tweak simple and easy.

I do that. But depending on the cabinet, it's still a PITA to pull a game out of the lineup though.

I have furniture sliders on all my games and can confirm, sliding games all over the basement is much easier with them.

I didn't know people did this. I'm going to start making threads with interesting titles so they can be necro bumped for eternity....

"I found a snake inside my arcade game"

"What's your favorite arcade game?"

"Atari games are the coolest"

"Was Zaxxon brought to us by the Globalists"

Things people are likely to search for
