This guy posted the same CL ad again today:
Here it is:
http://modesto.craigslist.org/clt/1472047017.html
Don't bother contacting him. The ad is fake. The phone number he provides starts with 518, which is a New York area code. Don't call the number. Its a Sprint Wireless number out of Albany, NY.
He says he has been working on games for a long time, and if that was true he would know the "real" value of the systems he is selling.
I have emailed him numerous times and he never responds, or he responds to something I didn't even ask him. SO, I got suspicious and decided to look up the "trailer park" he says he works at. The 4 N Mobile Home Park is in Oakdale, like the ad says. Since he mentions that he works as a handyman for the mobile home park manager I decided to call and speak with the manager. He said he doesn't know anyone named Kevin and has had numerous people come by over the past week looking for the "guy who has arcade games for sale.." He told me he doesn't know of anyone selling those kinds of games and that the Mobile Home Park is mostly senior citizens who wouldn't know and arcade game from a hole in the ground.
Anyway, I don't know exactly why this guy keeps posting ads, but they are fake!
Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up.
Thanks,
Jess (True)
