Anyone have some basic donkey kong plugs from control panel, board to power supply, etc. I'm converting my vs. cab back to donkey kong and i have all the parts now but need the wiring. thanks

Hi, yea i'm looking for the whole wiring with connectors, my monitor inputs are fine, just the control panel and the 2 patches off the power supply that go in the front and back of the donkey kong board. Thanks

Thanks, mikes does have the power wiring that i need, now i just need the control panel wiring if anyone has that let me know. thanks

Hi Dave,

Are you looking for the connectors in the wiring harness? If so, Mike's E Arcade has the original Nintendo-style ones at good prices.

The ones Mike sells are NOT original nintendo-style ones... they're just standard amp .1" housings with crimp pins that you'll ned to cut to size and shave 'key' pins into....

I believe quarterarcade has the harness that you need. They are really hard to find. I was going to make my own, but after digging through some of my stuff I found the one for my DK kit.

I would buy the harness parts that Quarter Arcade has and make the cp harness. The cp harness is really easy to make. You just need wire, quick disconnects,2 connectors and pins.
The wiring diagram in the manual will tell you what each wire goes to on the harness from the board to the cp.

The connectors at mike's will work, they just won't be "keyed" so you'll have to be carefull which way to install them. The only problem is they don't have the proper number of pins so you'd have to modify the housings. For the control panel harness you need a 15 pin to the board and a 9 and 4 pin to the CP. You could also get an edge connector and wire it that way. - Barry
