I found a cheap working replacement board to replace my hard version of DK (see http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=228897). I labelled each connection as I was taking it off the original board, with the intentions of putting them on the new board in the same order and location.

I removed connectors at P3, P5, P10, P7, P8 and P9 on the CPU board as well as a connector on P3 of the video board.

The problem is the replacement board has a connector going from P12 on the CPU board to P4 of the video board that the original board didn't have.

Can I still connect everything the way it was on the original board?

The original is labelled TG4-14 and the new one is labelled TG4-11

I know I could have probably swapped the EPROMS, but if I can get the board I bought to work, I will probably end up selling the hard version (as well as the Jamma adaptor that came with it)

Is it because the previous owner was using a Jamma converter? The schematics show P12 as "power out" and P4 as "power in", but my original setup already had connection to P3, which is also labelled "power in"

Yes.

The connector/cable on the new board is commonly called the Nintendo "Rainbow Cable," and it is used to power the VIDEO PCB when the boardset is connected to an edge connector-style harness. Your classic multi-connector-style harness provides the needed power to the VIDEO PCB via the P3 cable you disconnected from the old board. Use one or the other.
