This shows up after machine is on for several hours. Monitor was capped over a year ago and has low hours on it. I just noticed this after having the machine on for a while. Could this be PCB related and not monitor related? I have a DK Jr. PCB I should swap in to see if it makes a difference.

I am no expert but that looks like a board issue to me.

It may just be a pot issue. When it's happening try adjusting the 2 pots on the board and the position pots on the monitor and see if it clears up. - Barry

Try tweaking the H Cent pot on the monitor. I think that's the pot I adjusted on one doing the exact same thing.

even though you did a cap kit i vote on a bad cap, mine did the exact thing until i capped it. you can rule out the monitor by swapping your board in your DK jr. my 2 cents

This is definitely a Pot Issue on the board. Mine did exactly this. Bob Roberts has cheap replacements.

Thanks for the info/suggestions. Sounds like DK Jr. Board test is in order to rule out monitor. If problem persists then pot adjust/maybe new pots. I think it takes about 12 hours before the problem manifests.

Yeah, try adjusting the pot first before replacing. I get something similar to that (left side collapses but does not go back and forth like yours does) sometimes if I switch boards and adjusting it makes it go away.

Made a couple of adjustments to the Horizontal Hold pot and that seems to have gotten rid of the artifact. Going to let it run a while longer to see if it is gone/need to replace the pot.

I am very glad you posted this. My DK does the EXACT same thing, but goes away after about 20 mins of being on though. My monitor was just recapped a few months ago so for a while I thought it was my B+ maybe??

When I get home, I will play with the pots on the PCB and see what happens.
