hello, i have a donkey kong tkg4 (2 boardset) that is up and seemingly running perfect. Here is my issue. As soon as the machine is turned on it begins to play a "sound line" from the game.(dum da dum dum dahu) I believe this is normally played when kong is stomping the stairs.

when you credit the machine no credit sound is made.(still stuck on sound line)
once you hit the start button the game stops the sound line and gameplay is normal.

i dont believe kong was supposed to have attract music.
i believe the background music is stuck on.

any ideas would be great.

help me .... kong people

nobodies seen this before ? no ideas ?
i thought with all the DK guys on here someone would have a thought.

should i reseat the sound ROMS??

BUMP BA BUM BUM BUHUMP

update, i reseated all socketed chips and cleaned all the ic legs.
on restart game acts identical.... the background music is still stuck on.
i learned that some sounds are analog and some are digital, i believe the background is analog.
Can someone tell me what chips i should be looking at?
