Swapped all of my DK parts from a ratty fiberboard cab into a newly painted fresh all wood cab (to me) and everything was great except the sound quit working. :(

I can hear hum from the sound amp if I turn up the volume pot so it's not the speaker itself, checked the wiring and its solid, could this be a board issue and not an amp issue?

Did you plug in all FOUR connectors to the sound board on the monitor? And then the connector to the speaker? Make sure the connector on the boards is good?

4 Connector's?

I have the 2 board set in my cab and I only see the video cable running to it from the monitor, does that also carry the audio as well?

You're missing the audio cable then. Brown wire runs from PCB audio header up to sound board.

Dang it! I'm at work but I'll look for it when I get home, I could have swore that I reconnected all of the wiring that I disco'd in the swap, guess I missed it....

I'm such a dumb $#!*, I wrapped that brown wire out of the way on the the metal that guards the neck (slaps head).....

It's all better now, thanks for the help all :)
