I need to get new side art for my Donkey Kong Junior and I'd like to get some input from everyone.

Where is the best place to get it from? The 3 places I've been debating are:

Mike's arcade
http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=SADKJR

Quarter Arcade
http://www.quarterarcade.com/Game.aspx/1206

Arcade Shop
http://www.arcadeshop.com/pics/dkjr-sa.jpg

For me,quality is first priority with price being second.

Just by looking at the photos,it seems as though Quarter Arcade's looks the best but anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. (Not too thrilled he just went up $10 on the side art though.)

Didn't realize I forgot to add "Junior" in the title.Doh.....
No one has an opinion on the DK Jr. side art for these 3 fine websites?
Really?!

There's Game on Grafix as well. http://www.gameongrafix.com/products/donky-kong-jr-sideart Scott's quality is always top notch.

Edit: Looks like he's way cheaper than the others too.

This one is inkjet, not silkscreened. I would avoid this one. The quality will not be on part with the others.

And as stated above, most of the DK Jr. stuff was done by the same silkscreener. They should all be on par with each other. I know that Quarter Arcade and Mike's do not do there own silkscreens. Therefore their art either came for Arcadeshop, or are still leftovers from Phoenix Arcade or Arcade Renovations.

In this case, I would go with Arcadeshop ( dear God, I forgot how much I hate their website..... )

I bought a set from quarterarcade.com a few months back. They were silk screened and TOP NOTCH!!! Made my Jr look very nice!!
+1 for quarterarcade.........

I've bought all of my Nintendo art (side art and CPOs for DK and DK Jr. as well as the MBWB CPO) from Quarterarcade except for coin stickers which I get from ThisOldGame. Great quality. Shipping is killer sometimes, but just order more items to make it worth your while. :)

Thanks for all the input guys! I have heard they all come from the same printer as well but was not too sure about it.

Ebay seller digdug!

just got some art from a pro designer his ebay name is digdug!
great art at almost 1/2 the price of others....i think he only does ebay....
got a set of kong/kong jr/kong 3 from him and they were 45 a set!!!!

i dont think they are inkjet....these are really nice quality...on uv resistant sheets as well....
i have 4 sets of his work now...just got popeye as well...they are really nice...
his ads say he offers 100% refund if not satisfied....send back for full refund...
i have gotten sets from him a few times now and figured id turn on some people as he even gave me his number to ask him about some special prints i wanted done...
great dude and product....everyone check them out!!!
(and n0o im not affilaited with him, just know a good thing when i see it!!)

i didnt ask because of me being a newb didnt know there was a difference...but i will ask him when i call him about super pac side art...
they have to be silkscreened, as they are so nice they souldnt be a laser prinout even..

I would bet money on the fact that all of his artwork is inkjet. You can't screen artwork for that cheap. And I highly doubt there are any guys screening arcade artwork that we here on KLOV have never heard of.

Here are his closed auctions:

I am not saying it doesn't look good, but it will never be as good or last as long as a nice screenprint.

Super Pac sideart is not a decal. It was painted using stencils directly on the cabinet.

Yep, you're a noob alright :) It's inkjet and he didn't design OR trace it.

Ebay Seller DigDug!

I also have seen this seller and was impressed by his product and prices, however compared to others, his DK Jr artwork had varying colors. I cannot speak for the DK set but he offered me a DK Jr set for less than the Buy It Now price. Seemed like a nice seller, and had a money back guarantee. Shoot him an offer and see what he says.

If it's not screen printed don't buy it. Inkjets didn't exist in the 1980s...

If you look at your art and is is flat like a photograph then it is inkjet.
Screen Printing will have raised areas where the ink overlaps or trapts.

Cheaper isn't always better. That digdug guy's artwork isn't even 100% accurate. Inaccurate side art = no purchase.
