Yea, I'll never forget the 'BILL - BILL - BIIIIIILLL' on the kencade broadcast. Poor guy.
Well anyways, I just recieved the long awaited Donkey Kong at my doorstep today. Reattached it to the metal plate. Plugged the old girl in and she's running beautifully. Unfortunately I'm just a tad rusty at DK and could only get up to the rivets before my last man died. But had great sprites, music, everythings running as it should. Thanks for the referral to Dick and thanks to him for the repair.
