Problem: Board was dropped on ground and z80 kit popped out bent pins on several chips causing left girders to be sharply bent, part of girls head missing and graphic glitches on screen.
Inspection: Boards are in good shape. However, Z80A 40 pin socket had become chipped and cracked which lifted a trace underneath to become loose.
Solution: 1) Removed 40 pin socket replaced with new one. Fixed the bad trace.
Replaced the Z80A IC with a new one because the other one was damaged.
2) Verified all roms were good
3) Straightened out the bent legs on two IC chips.
4) Tested board and played a few games. Everything seems working fine now.
5) Was sent 2 extra IC chips tested them in board to verify those chips were
good. Chips checked out fine.
6) Made some new labels for the rom chips to cover the windows as these had
painters tape on them all.
