Donkey Kong PCB Repair ?

First off, I have minimal troubleshooting ability..
When my Donkey Kong Powers up it launches with unique sounds that aren't supposed to occur at that particular time plus whatever sounds play are random and never the same at each reboot. A friend asked me to check the voltages and I know how to do that no problem on a Jamma but not sure of the Kong pinouts. Any help would be appreciated on that.

If I am able to successfully rule out the power supply Does anyone know where I can get a Donkey Kong board repaired at a reasonable rate. I found this eBay listing and was also wondering if anyone here would happen to know this person and can vouch for their work.

I was having some really screwy issues with both my 2-stack DK board and my DK JR. board.

He has a "fix or replace policy." (If he can't fix it, then he replaces it) And that is exactly what he did for me. My boards were too far gone.

EDIT: I should also mention that he has really good communication, customer service, and good turn-around time.

As for checking voltage, if you have a 2-board stack, and it's a DK cabinet (all wiring goes directly to the board), then you have an unused edge connector at the top of the board. You can check voltages at the edge connector, using the below pinout:

Most important is +5V. Whether or not you have the unused edge connector (the 4-board stacks don't have that edge connector), it is also good to check +5V at any of the LS chips at the bottom of the board. The further away from the source that you're checking, the more "true" the result will be. You may be spot on at 5.0V at the top of the board, but due to voltage drop, may be below 5V at the bottom of the board and those chips are getting starved. Pick a chip, identify the part number on it, and find the pinout online in order to determine which pins to place your leads on, for measuring.

I don't know if it's voltage or pcb. So many people say those power supply's are solid as a rock. I may need monitor repair too, can't tell if it's bad or just looks bad because of the pcb

I will check Mikes Arcade, this guy on eBay states he does repair for them and it appears at half the price of some.
 
Have you tried the typical adjustments of vertical hold and horizontal hold? Remember, they are actually opposite on these cabs because the monitor is rotated. H hold (which adjusts up/down on these cabs) I believe is very touchy. That looks like it could be a v hold issue. But, someone else may know better from direct experience.
