Hi everyone. In my restoration of a DK machine, I am struggling a bit with the wiring for the main PCB connector. For example, the schematic shows nine grounds I believe (Pins 1, 2, 21, 22, A, B, T, Y, Z)

Do all of these need to be hooked up to the power supply ground? I have seen (blurry) pictures of the original power supply cable and it certainly doesn't look like there are nine ground wires... I suspect some of these are intended for output connections, but uncertain.

Same question for the other power supply lines (+5, -5, +12) as there are multiple of those as well.

Anyways, am looking to hook up in the original configuration - Does anyone have a nice close up picture of an original DK PCB connector they would be able to share, or otherwise be able to provide some guidance?

Thanks very much,
Ryan

Usually power supply ground is wired to 1,2,A and B, pin T is the video ground for the monitor, the others ( 21.22.Y & Z ) are usually used for ground for the coin door, control panel and anything else that needs a ground.
You don't need to run the four on separate leads to the power supply, they can be connected together before getting to the edge connector, multiple ground leads help to distribute the current load so one contact doesn't handle it all, if one connector pin becomes slightly oxidized the rest will carry the current to alleviate the potential for heating on the pin with a less than perfect connection, the same applies for the +5 and I would recommend using all the pins (3,4,C and D), the -5 also should have both pins connected but the 12V is less critical since it has a relatively low current and isn't very critical voltage wise either if there is a slight drop.
