Donkey Kong not powering on

Would these work? Having a hard time finding the right size that say 125v.

you want MDL fuses, those are slow blow, AGC is fast blow. they'll probably get nuked on first power up.

people will probably frown upon getting anything from Amazon but I bought 2A fast BOJACK fuses last year for vector monitors and they worked. you might be able to get them fast, otherwise you can try an auto parts store. though I didn't have luck with them for the fast blow fuses, hence why I just bought them from Amazon.

those fuses don't just blow for their personal amusement, you need to troubleshoot at minimum what I suggested a page ago.

These are the readings I'm getting when I checked those 2 pins for the power cable.

2 Questions:

1. Where exactly are you placing your red and black leads when taking that measurement?
2. What mode is your DMM in?
Let me know if I'm placing them in the wrong spot and if I need to change my settings.

Might need to get mecha to clarify if a fuse should be installed or not while doing this. Not sure if that makes a difference.

And I assume you are doing this while the monitor is off unless you like how defibrillators feel as a side hobby. :)

Yes no power is going to the machine right now 😂. I'm not getting any readings right now when I do that let me add a fuse.

One step at a time. Patience is required in this hobby, especially when dealing with monitors. Let's wait and see what mecha says first at a minimum.

Also, just to be sure...

Have you obtained the correct value fuse yet? If yes...have you tried powering on the monitor with it installed?
