I was looking for a good replacement speaker for the original Donkey Kong/Nintendo cabinet. I found this little beauty and wanted to share it:

This driver looks to be a great replacement for the original. It has a very high QTS (small magnet) which makes it perfect for an open baffle setting with a large open cabinet. It is also clearly designed for a front mounting setup with a paper gasket and plenty of clearance for the cone and surround. Unlike most 6.5 inch mids designed to be used with a tweeter, this driver is designed more as a full-range driver and the top end should be go a little bit higher in frequency. It is even an 8 ohm design which is an easy load to drive and should work great.
Anyone looking for a replacement driver might want to grab one of these for their DK, DKJR or Popeye cabinet. I am unsure about the exact dimensions lining up perfectly in regards to the mounting holes, but for $4 you can't go wrong here. It looks incredibly similar to the original speaker in design and materials used. Jamo makes some pretty nice stuff, so finding a raw driver this cheap from them is definitely unusual.
I am afraid that after I post this they will all disappear. Maybe I should have ordered some first and posted later...
