Donkey Kong monitor is "Melting" or freaking out

I just got this Donkey Kong cabinet & it works fine when you first turn it on but after leaving it run for a few hours it does this. I don't even know what to call it. It's almost liek it's melting but it keeps jittering, like it melts down & then jumps back up then back down & it does it fast. It gets worse as time goes on like after an hour it's maybe just a few pixels big but after 4 hours it's worked it's way into the barrels up top. Does it need re-capping?

sounds like bad caps.

your pics file size is probably to large.

if it has never had any work done, it needs caps.

if you need parts, i have them.
if you need it fixed, your welcome to send it in.

Peace
Buffett

if you need parts i should have everything in stock and link to the cap kit with audio cap kit included and all nichicon 105c caps and the best quality.

Well it isn't the caps, I just recapped it. I have a few cap kits, I ordered a lot of them awhile back. I've used the same kit in 6 other machines & all those are fine so I know it isn't the kit. After I recapped it it started doing the exact same thing as last time.

Thanks that seemed to do the trick. I only say seem because it wasn't consistent with the problem before. Some times it'd start doing it after a minute, others after an hour. So I won't know for sure until later but for now it's good, thanks!

If you experience this problem again, you may want to clean/replace the potentiometer that you adjusted. I assume you completed a cap kit on the chassis?
