This looks like a really nice Machine at a decent price.
You know I've owned two of these and built four or five replicas, and I never really noticed the woodgrain top on the originals. Pretty sure I always went with black like the uprights. Weird.
thanks for the comments and interest, this is now spoken for... closer inspection revealed the monitor has a jittery picture that isn't stable and probably needs a cap kit, so I will try to fix that
yeah they don't come around often
its 14" iirc... i foolishly said I would look into fixing the monitor even though I don't have time for anything right now... but if that doesn't happen I will entertain offers as-is once I'm in more dire need of space
well after leaving the game on for 15 minutes, a slow flyback arcing started, like every 10 seconds (even after powering off while it peters out)
you can see it in this video framegrab
i'm not sure if a new flyback is needed or if this can be fixed with insulation/gapping
when it happens, the screen picture "resyncs" by shifting like two inches then is fine until the next arc (besides a small jitter that is always present likely a cap, jittering like one pixel constantly)
long story short i should probably sell as-is, going thru the interest list in order with this new info
I've got one of these monitors on my bench, needing a recap. I found info on the chassis/monitor here: https://segamadebaddecisions.wordpress.com/2015/04/12/the-sanyo-ezz-c-14-inch-colour-monitor-the-20ezs-neglected-14-cousin/. I see there, a list of caps that are different than the 20EZ...
