Hi all. Today I brought home my newest project cab. Its a converted donkey kong junior to arkanoid....argh! But for the $100.00 I paid with the fresh monitor im happy. Ive always wanted a popeye and got every part I need for the conversion....even the serial plate for the back. Now my question is the montor. Can it be rotated or does it need to be remounted? Are there any threads on doing this as I cant find one.

If there was ever a horizontal game in your cab before, you should see three bolts or holes on each side going diagonally. If there are no bolts or holes, then you will need to drill holes for the horizontal monitor mounts.

So if I need to add holes will the bracket I have now work? Its never been sideways its originally a dk junior then a arkanoid so the monitor was never moved

You will need horizontal mounting brackets for the game. Nintendo also specified in their manuals that two horizontal support bars be attached to the monitor's frame (my Vs. System conversion never had these and the monitor was fine, but I added them anyway when I restored).

Edit: you can find the brackets here: http://www.quarterarcade.com/Game.aspx/5995

They have the three holes for the three bolts that go through each side of the cabinet.
