I don't know how I missed this restore. She's a beauty! I've got a DKjr that I'm planning on fixing up as well, hopefully to the quality that you've got here. Great job!

speaking of the correct colour, is the cabinet colour the same as the organe at the top of kongs head ?

Yes, actually the cabinet colour is very close to the orange on the side art. That wasn't intentional on my part though - I used the original paint from underneath the carriage bolts when matching the colour.
