Well after 2 days of working on game I finally found out I have a Sanyo 20ez from and old Dokert post help. (i thank you) Now I need to flip the screen vertical and make sure this monitor is all set to go with excepting a DK jr board. It now works with Wonder boy so that's good. I now need to know what these 2 things are in my cabinet and should I keep them in when I remove wonder boy board. Yes I know, noob.

Picture 1 is a Nintendo transformer. You need to keep that in order to feed the correct 100v to your 20EZ.

Picture 2 is the switcher being used by your Sega board. You will want to replace this with a Nintendo power supply, or a newer switching power supply with a DK adapter installed.

Here's a picture of a DK power supply and transformer assembly. As you'll see, the transformer is the same, but you're missing the 'other' piece of the puzzle, the power supply.

Picture 3 is the inverter board. Nintendo boards put out "inverted" video kinda like looking at the negative on a piece of film. Sanyo EZV20 monitors accept inverted video. When You wanted to hook up a JAMMA board or other common board to the monitor, you would simply use the inverter board to reverse the colors so the Sanyo monitor would display correctly. If you get a DK game board, you won't need to use that inverter board anymore.

For the new guys:

Cap = Short for Capacitor. That little grey thing on the top right of the inverter board is a electrolytic capacitor. They have fluid in them that dries out over time.
Pot = Short for Potentiometer. Adjustment devices. The little white knobs on the end of the inverter board are pots.
Isolation Transformer = A transformer used to isolate devices from transient grounds. Your transformer performs a TWO FOLD function. Function #1 and MOST IMPORTANT- it is an isolation transformer. If you plug that monitor directly into a wall it will blow up. I know that looks like a house plug on the end but TRUST ME. THAT IS NOT WHAT IT IS THERE FOR. DO NOT PLUG THAT INTO YOUR WALL OUTLET. Function #2 - voltage reduction. Sanyo EZV20 monitors run on 100V and NOT 110-120V like we have here in the US.

Yeah, I'm going to guess that the pair of white wires at 10pm on this picture are going to a similar 2 outlet fixture like my picture has. His monitor is likely plugged in there.

Mongo's right - never plug a Sanyo 100v monitor into a standard household outlet. You'll fry some components on the chassis.

Well sold out Wonderboy guts from my DK jr cab. Now getting cosmetic done before hunting for the board. Just got the marquee and installed a 15" light and pulled the original 13". This only cost $9 and it makes the marquee pop. Control panel and bezel being ordered this weekend.

Put monitor in at 42 degree angle. Board, coin mech locks, bezel, power supply, harness, and control panel all coming this week. I hope I can get this up and running in 1 week.

Received DK Jr board today thanks to DJ DNS. Any good sites or videos for hookin up the bead to the right places. Need to know where P7 monitor cord hooks up to on the inverter card.

Bump! I'm going to pull an all Nighter to get this all wired up. Need pictures or power supply wiring and monitor/inverter board wiring. Having problems with those 2. Any pics or website links would help. Thanks.

What wiring besides the harness do I need for a 2 board Dk Jr? I need to order these. What molex connectors an pins do I order to hookup the power supply to harness?

Well after a long month of no working games I now have 2. My daughter just asked "how do I pause this."ImageUploadedByTapatalk1335749635.120008.jpg
