Hey guys, great site. Glad I found it.

Was wondering if someone could help me out with this strange problem. I purchased this cocktail game at an auction not working. Got it for a good price, and was going to fix it. Got it home, opened it up looked in and hit the switch. BOOM starting working great!!

Came back to it 4 days later, and its doing the same thing as before. SEE VIDEO LINK Was wondering if anyone had an idea on what's going on.

When it was working, it worked GREAT. No glitches, the sound was perfect, the screen was perfect. It played great.

Am I sunk??? SEE LINK BELOW

That scrambled graphic is usually a z80 seating issue. I would start by gently removing the z80 chip, inspecting an cleaning the legs, and then reseating it.

Thanks so much for the response.

I was able to d'load the service manual for this...would the chip be listed in the schematic?

Man I really appreciate your input!!!

Yeah the game is watchdoging (resetting over and over. Problem lies on the CPU PCB. Try reseating the CPU located at 7C and the program ROMs located at 5E, 5C , 5B and 5A (if any).
