So I picked up a DK yesterday that is not working. It initially appears to have no power as in nothing lights up or turns on. I've been testing voltages starting at the 120 Volt source, and it seems that the ISO is outputting 105 volts to the power supply, and 109 volts to the monitor.

Shouldn't the monitor be 100 volts exactly?

This is my first Nintendo experience so any hep would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since you beat me to the deal. The output voltage is directly proportional to the input. So if your walls are a little high the out put will be as well. I believe that is in range but not a nintendo expert. Check the output voltages on your power supply. Also the board could be up since the monitor control both sound and video. Try turning up the brightness on the monitor to see if you get raster lines so you can at least eliminate the monitor or board.

Well, not exactly. The iso is a stepdown not a 1:1. 120vac in 100vac out +/- 10% thus the109vac.

Test the voltage at the 2 oulet receptcle that the monitore and the marquee plug into.
