I bought a repro CPO underlay instruction card from Arcadeshop, however, it's a little larger and has pointed corners, where my original DK card has rounded corners. I like the original aesthetic—does anyone know how to make NICE rounded corners? I don't dare take scissors to the thing or it'll look like a child did it.

Not the end of the world, but I figured somebody here had the technique!

I bought a corner rounding punch from Staples I think. It looks like a small shape puncher for scrapbooking but you insert the corner of paper.

Took a pic. Works wonders, use it on CPOs and stickers all the time.

The original cards have 90 degree angles. You just can't see them because the card sits under the CPO, which has rounded corners on the window.

The bottom half of mine looks like that, but not the top. Maybe I need to look more closely? Or take the damn thing off. Thanks again.

You need to take off the CPO and look at the underside. I've got a NOS card and a CPO with the original card still on it and neither have rounded corners. Same for DK Jr. and Popeye.

Yeah, he's right. The card goes under the CPO and the screened art is what is rounded.

Right you guys are. I got that off and got the new card in and taped it up, it was perfect.

I hadn't taken the CPO off previously because there was a decades-old cola spill underneath, which made the CPO stick to the wood and I was worried it would take the paint with it. Managed to get it off today with little fanfare.
