So I get a converted dk to a superbike, buy known working board, and I get garbled graphics, game, sound works. Go to another klovs house with a working DK, different harness(edge connector, my cab uses the molex connectors), works fine less one small graphic anomale.

I put a new arcadeshop switcher in my cab, same graphics issue, here it is, only moving characters are scrambled, do these molex pins, headers go bad often, do you think its my issue, or could it be a bad video cable...doubt it, same result on two diff sanyos, sorry guys typing this on my phone bored at work....

Is Mikes the only source for pins/headers?

Well, you may have somthing there, I tried to dial in my voltages on it, and the -5 wont get up there, but after turning it up a tad to just of +5.04, the distortion is better, not gone, but better, the -5 is around -4.67, not sure what the board uses the -5 for...but I may have to rebuild the original maybe?

Oops, sorry, I deleted my original post before you replied ;) Anyway, I had suggested maybe it was because you were using a switcher, but I forgot you said you had the original supply and it did it too. Perhaps the power isn't right on the original supply either? I know DK can be picky with voltages, and sometimes switchers cause board glitches.

It is most likely a board issue.
Eliminate the switcher if it is in your cab,DK boards don't like them.
The -5v is sometimes not high enough and can't be adjusted like the 5v can.
Mouser also has pins, sockets and housings that, although not keyed, will fit on the DK boards.
Here are the housings to get you started. http://www.molex.com/molex/products...ype=s&filter=&fs=&channel=Products&Lang=en-US

Yep, get that switcher out of there.....re-cap the original supply, dial the voltages in (paticularly the negative 5 volt rail), and be done.

Board issue possibly, but it works in aonther DK cab noted in my original post, with an original supply, my supply in my orig DK does not work, the -5v is not high enough with the switcher, is this the issue I suppose?

You said it worked but still had a graphic anomale in the other cab.
That leads me to think it is a board issue, assuming the other DK works 100% in the other cab.
