Donkey Kong - ECL RAM Missing Heat Sink

Would this concern you?

They do kind of cook. So heatsinking isn't a terrible idea, whether those small heatsinks dissipates enough heat to actually make a real difference to the lifespan of the chip... that's another question...

Where can I buy a heat sink?

I've got a local place that normally has old surplus parts like heatsinks which fit.
Otherwise mouser and digikey have a selection and something that would work.
Bob Roberts may have something that would work too.

How do I attach the heat sink to the IC?

This has been the subject of great debate before.... I use thermal epoxy, but only as I have some to hand. Other folks have used mixing aluminum filings into epoxy to make it a better thermal conductor and others said they just glued it on with epoxy.

I use Crazy Glue.....really! :)

I didn't have thermal epoxy, so I just put epoxy on the very ends to hold the heatsink, and thermal grease in the middle to conduct the heat.
