Donkey Kong & Donkey Kong Junior Conversions???

Can people assist me in naming all the conversions that Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Junior PCBs were made into??? I am interested in the Game Title and which PCB stack it was for (DK or DKJR). I'll start with what I know...

8 Ball Action

Street Heat - DK
Superbike - DK

Those are the other ones I remember...................

JJ

BTW also remember a hack that made a DKJr board into a Mario Bros

So after I posted up the question, I started to look around for myself too. These are the titles that came up in a M.A.M.E. database...

Eight Ball Action (DK & DKJR conversion)
Street Heat (DK & DKJR conversion)
Drakton (DK & DKJR conversion)
Herbie at the Olympics (DK conversion)
Hero in the Castle of Doom (DK conversion)
Hunchback (DK conversion)
Super Bike (DK conversion)

Anyone ever hear of Drakton???

These are conversion kits. Generally, just a daughter card and some EPROMs for the DK or DKJR PCB (a lot advertise no soldering or wiring needed to install), a new marquee and a new control panel (whether it is just a CPO or has optional attachments). Do these games utilize the original DK wiring harness...control panel and all???

Also, I swear I remember there being a kung fu fighting conversion. Anyone know that one or if there is one???

I would assume so, since they're using the original PCB...the original PCB would still be plugged into the harness, so unless they changed the controls, I would think it was have been used as is (Street Heat might be different, since it had an optional steering wheel...not sure how that would be hooked up)

Herbie At The Olympics - DK

I have one of these. Saw the tell-tale signs of a DK and after I plugged it in found some sports-y game.....I'm going to look into how to convert it back to DK as I don't think anyone wants it as a HatO.

I was actually considering getting the conversion games. I have an 8 Ball Action (on a DKJR PCB) being worked on as we speak. I'm hoping he can get it back to operational. It currently shows garbage on the screen. I had the chip set for DKJR too and he already got the DKJR up and running...just gotta work out the kinks in the 8 Ball. I would be interested in your conversion kit (chip set and daughtercard if it came with it). All you would need to do is get a DK chip set (PROMS and EPROMS) to deconvert it as long as nothing is soldered into place. PM me if you're willing to sell either the conversion kit or the whole PCB.

I saw the steering wheel option for Street Heat and I think I've seen a track ball for 8 Ball Action. Those could all be set to use the original cp wiring harness. The thing I thought was odd is there is a CPO for Super Bike on eBay and it has the joystick and the Player 1 and Player 2 start buttons but no other button. Under the start buttons it's labelled fire and jump. Assuming that the start buttons double as the play buttons, I'm wondering if the wiring harness was altered at all for this or if the button programming is in the daughtercard and chips.

I would assume that it's just programmed to use the start buttons as fire and jump. I know a few other games do that.

I've got a street heat with the steering wheel. it was pulled from the cabinet, I've got to get with Buffett and get it over to him. But, it's a neat piece.. pretty lame game Im sure, but neat idea.

Pictures of the control panel with the steering wheel would be cool if you can get them.
