Donkey Kong Country Returns

Anyone else have the pleasure of trying out this newly made classic? One of my lady friends was so kind to buy a copy for me and stop by last night. Man it pays to have a DK machine sometimes

Gotta say it really brought me back to playing on the SNES, good feel, familiar music and sounds. Had a blast blazing through the first few levels. Definitely an "A" title on the Wii (at least so far it seems nice), and there are very few of those.

I will most definitely pick this up eventually, but moving has made my already huge backlog even bigger, so I won't pick it up for a while.

I played this today in Best Buy...very impressed! The DK Country series is by far one of my favorite game series ever and I was very skeptical. They kept it fresh while keeping it enough old school to satisfy nostalgia junkies like me. I had to make myself leave and get back to work. Nice use of some old music and level themes. Can't wait to pick it up for myself around Christmas. I will play the hell out of it that's for sure. Can't afford the distraction right now.

Donkey kong returns, great game !

Is anyone playing donkey Kong country returns? I'm having a great time with this game. I'm really loving the level designs although some of them are a bit frustrating but that's to be expected with a dkc game. Interacting with the foreground and background is a nice touch . The mine carts and rocket barrels are fun as hell to. The graphics look fantastic and do a good job immersing you in the different enviorments. I I would give it a 10/10. This is one of the best 2D platformers I've ever played.

got it at my moms my step-dad henry went out at 11:00 the night it came out. i have the gba donkey kong country i dont like the wii. not the game or the systym.
