Tomorrow I will be picking up a converted donkey kong to Playchoice 10. I'm curious to know, what parts would be needed to get it back to a donkey kong? Obviously control panel, bezel and marquee, but what about harnesses? Also, donkey kong is vertical and PC 10 is horizontal, would I need different mounting brackets? The white t molding will also need to be replaced, anyone have a link to where I can find the most original stuff? Anyway, I might keep it as is since Nintendo is my all time favorite platform.

Also if someone has a link to the DK to PC 10 conversion manual that would be greatly appreciated. Couldn't find it.

Get a Playchoice conversion manual online, that should have everything you need to know about de-converting it.

Doh, we posted at the same time. Try a Vs. Unisystem Manual. I know they are out there.

U need a dk pcb, art, control panel, and to flip the monitors which isn't hard and I suggest while you got that bad boy out cap the monitor. Security0001 can get the top notch kit, as usually converted games have lots and lots of hours on them.

where in Cali? i have vs unisystem manual you can have.
i was wondering who got that and how much it went for?

think i have the brackets too. if close to Colton Ca 92324 you can bring it by or swing by and pick up manual and bracket. i can also tell you what all you will need.

Damn guys, I was wrong. This cabinet used to be a VS super Mario bros. Whoever did the conversion was nice enough to keep the original mario bros board inside the cabinet! It's in like new condition and I plugged it in to see if it works...works perfectly.

This things needs, but not limited to:

1. Cap kit.
2. New white t molding, preferably flat like the original.
3. Marquee light, or starter, or fixture. Don't know which one yet.
4. A serious deep clean.
5. Rebuilt joysticks. Already did one, what a difference!
6. Bondo/original Nintendo blue touch up.

Who can give me their best suggestion to these items? I can't tell if the t molding is offeset or not OR which size I need. I'll let you know. Thanks in advance!
