I picked up a Space Firebird board set from a Nintendo cocktail this weekend. I am thinking about installing it in my red Nintendo cabinet, I am looking for just the wood part.

some what handy. I was going to buy the jamma adapter but he is not shipping to the USA right now. I know its not going to be easy. How handy are you? That boardset has a unique pin out that would require you to get a pin to edge connector that would require mapping.
The radar scope button holes look correct but the joystick is different. I figured I would need to drill holes for the correct layout. Also, be aware that it would have used a Radarscope style panel, having a donkey kong style panel would be very uncomfortable.
Like previously mentioned, pre-radarscope games also had a different pinout, to the pp7* power supplies will not work with this game.
Are you sure about that? I am pretty sure that the joysticks on the cocktail table are different from the upright. I was under the assumption that space firebird used the radarscope style joysticks for the upright. The radar scope button holes look correct but the joystick is different. That might be correct but I have not found any picture of a upright Space Firebird cabinet. I was going to use a regular joystick with a Nintendo Joystick 2-way Guide Plate. Mikes arcade has some of the harness I will need. Are you sure about that? I am pretty sure that the joysticks on the cocktail table are different from the upright. I did that originally with my Radarscope before finding an original. I used a router to make the slot for an original joystick. That might be correct but I have not found any picture of a upright Space Firebird cabinet. That said. You mentioned getting parts from a cocktail, if you have the cocktail control panels hit me up, I am in need of those.
