I have an original control panel harness that connects from the game board to the cp, I believe it's p5 on the board. The connector for the right movement is broken so instead to spending 25 for a new harness online I was wondering how I can repair this. This connector is the female side of the cable. Where can I find that female pin. If someone can send me a link that would be great. Also wile at it what size are the male pins and where can I find those as well as the actual black dk connectors themselves.

Thanks p

i would check with Mike at mikesarcade.com because he probably has all those nintendo connectors.

I can't remember the size of the pins off hand. You may be able to write him and ask. The connector itself looks fine.

Everything the OP is asking for would be great info to have. The ground wire on my red DK CP harness was jimmy rigged to bypass the connector when I acquired it, and was making poor connection. I've since made it more solid, but still bypassing the connector. I would love to put it back to original.

For the terminal receptacle, you should be able to use this part:

Molex SL series female connector.

The male counterpart, however, is tougher to find. I'm not sure anyone has found a perfect replacement.

I ordered this from Mike's hoping that it is the male side? I have the same problem, but with a couple of the pins on the male side. I'll let you know when it comes in.

The male pins worked. They are a little bigger and stick out the bottom, but otherwise work just fine.

Sorry to bump this old thread but when you replaced the main pin side with this replacement from Mikesarcade.com did it work with the original Nintendo terminal receptacle or did you have to replace both sides?

It worked with the original harness. It's not perfect but it gets the job done.

To be clear I only replaced a single pin.
