Donkey Kong cocktail

It's really what you know. A DK cocktail is no more awkward than any other. I own a DK cocktail and I have it on my upright 60-in-1. I prefer sitting down and playing the cocktail every time. I guess if you own an upright and logged countless hundreds of hours on uprights only, then it'll take some getting used to. I don't see the hate for the cocktail, unless you don't like the cosmetics. It's extremely playable. The only detracting thing I could say is it's loud. It'd be nice if it didn't have a fan... that's it. If you don't mind the cosmetics I'd give it serious thought, as you may be able to find a better deal on one.

I would think the tiny 13 inch monitor in the dedicated dk cocktail would be more of a turn off than the controls.

That's another good point. It may bother some, but it doesn't seem small when you're sitting in front of it. The controls aren't better or worse, just a different than an upright.

Some guy was trying to sell his DK cocktail on the Dallas CL for months. He started at $400 and I think it eventually stopped showing up when he listed it at $250. It looked good in the pictures. I don't think it's in high demand - at least around here.

I'd get the cocktail because its cheap . You can always sell it if you don't like it . The price of the mini is too much , you can find an upright cheaper . Instead of the mini I'd get a DK and a DK Jr cocktail .
